Party Recap

Brooklyn is an active 8 year old who loves sports and video games. So, what could be more fun then combining all of the elements of Super Mario into a bright, playful, active and fun party! Brooklyn's Mom had already booked some super fun entertainment so we had to match all that fun with some over the top decorations.

Party Highlights

  • What People Ate

The food was kid friendly and easy to grab and go since there were so many activities happening. Items like Uncrustables, applesauce pouches, bagged chips and fruit made the perfect menu.

  • What People Drank

Red and Blue punches to match the theme served in mushroom cups.

  • Desserts

There was no shortage of sweets for this party. The incredible Mario themed cake was joined by King Koopa cupcakes, Goomba chocolate mousse cups, Bomb pops and themed cookies.

  • Party Favors

Guests were able to choose a Mario or Luigi visor and stick on one of their infamous mustaches. After it was "Game Over" they took home a Question Block favor box filled with Mario themed toys and goodies.

  • Activities / Games

This Mom of two boys knew how to keep them busy! The party started with a Video Game Truck, an Inflatable Basketball Shoot Out and a Photo Booth. Then after lunch the little guests teamed up to beat each other in backyard Laser Tag. Hey! Such a cute party! Where did you get the plates? Or did you make them??

  • andrea@louandpepper.com

We made the plates using a question mark SVG on the Cricut machine. Super easy but made a huge impact!
