In celebration of the Minions movie, I’m sharing how to create Minions cookies that are super cute and easy to make!

So to make your easy Minions cookies…

Supplies: (I’ve added affiliate links, but they won’t cost you a thing, promise)

Start by melting your yellow candy melts in the microwave at 30 second intervals, stirring after each interval.

Dip each cookie into the yellow chocolate and use the side of the bowl to smooth it out. You don’t need to coat the entire cookie, just the top.

Lay out your cookies on a cookies sheet covered in wax paper. You can stick them in the fridge for 15 minutes to harden.

Next, melt the blue candy melts in the microwave, and dip the other end of the cookie into the blue chocolate. Leave more yellow than blue because Minions have big heads.

Don’t be surprised if your chocolate gets messy. I just kept a roll of paper towels next to me so I could continually wipe my hands and table as I worked.

Squirt two little dots of white Cookie Icing on the front of the cookie and affix the eyes. I tried to use a little extra icing so it would bleed out to look like the frames of the glasses.

Using your Wilton Decorating Gel, draw the sides of the eyeglasses.

You can either use the Wilton Decorating Gel to draw hair, or I used my AmeriColor Gourmet Writer which was easier to control.

I love the way they turned out and so did my daughter. When she saw them after camp, she told me I was the coolest mom ever!!
