Today we're sharing some fantastic graduation party ideas from Laura Aguirre from Laura's Little Party!
Graduation is upon us, and with that comes excited students, fun, and parties. Here I’ll be showing you ways to make your graduation party a success.
To help create a memorable event, I’ve come up with easy ways for you to decorate your party.
First I used the FREE chalkboard printable set by Printabelle for Catch My Party, to set my colors and look. What's great about this printables set is it can work for any type of graduation (preschool up to grad school) and can pair with any school colors.
Next, to make my dessert table backdrop, I attached foam boards together, and covered them with gold polka dotted wrapping paper. I also added some adorable paper fans from My Paper Crush, and gold stars for an extra pop! The “good luck” banner was a sweet way to wish mt graduates the best!
To tie the rest of the table together, I used shimmery gold fabric as a table cover, and some simple props such as a globe, some mini suitcases, and some fake books.
To keep my guests satisfied before the main course, I served small portions of snack food: carrots & celery sticks, and a snack mix, displayed in coordinating baking cups. And I couldn't forget the cupcakes!
I dressed up some store bought cupcakes with some super festive graduation toppers, from my friends at Creativities Galore. They can also customize their graduation toppers to coordinate with your school colors! I also added some fun striped cupcakes wrappers, from Hoopla Events.
Along with the snacks, I needed drinks as well. I wrapped water bottles, and attached paper flags to the straws. Instantly I had a festive party beverage!
Displaying straws inside of a painted glitter jar by Just Add Glitter By Marla added that special touch. To commemorate the graduating class, I placed gold wrapped candies inside of ceramic numbers, from Hoopla Events.
I didn't want to let my guests go home empty handed. I attached a printable tag to favor boxes, and sent them off with goodies.
I hope you enjoyed my helpful party tips, and they inspire you to throw your own memorable graduation celebration. Congratulations to all our 2015 Graduates!graduation parties and free graduation party printables from our site!
