Thinking of throwing an easy Father’s Day party on a budget but don’t know how? Laura Aguirre from Laura’s Little Party is here with some great and inexpensive party tips for throwing a Father’s Day mustache bash.

Father’s Day is quickly approaching! Here are a few of my tips to help you throw a simple but spectacular Father’s Day celebration to let Dad know how much you love him!

Budget Father’s Day Party Ideas You’ll Find So Much Fun!

Step 1: Printables

My inspiration for this dessert table, started with these free Mustache Father’s Day printables right here on Catch My Party. This gave me my design and color pallette. I then used some coordinating party supplies from the Catch My Party Store to bring my table to life.

First, I dressed up store bought cupcakes with the printable cupcake wrappers from the collection. I also printed out the labels to wrap around root beer bottles, toppers to decorate my cupcakes, and tags for the popcorn bags and mini favor boxes (which I decorated with orange tissue paper festooning).

Step 2: Party Decor + Backdrop

To make the dessert table backdrop, I found polka dot wrapping paper. I covered two foam boards, and added the “Happy Father’s Day” printable banner from the set. Easy peasy.

I used these mustache cupcake picks to decorate my cupcakes and glued my leftover mustaches to my cake stand. I wrapped a small box in mustache wrapping paper, and set my cake stand on top to give it some height.

Step 3: Party Supplies

I found mustache straws from the Catch My Party Store, plus these mustache adorned wooden utensilsBecause I love mixing patterns, I used  blue striped dessert plates with orange plates underneath, blue polka dot napkins, and a yellow piece of chevron fabric as my table cloth. I love how the colors and patterns make such a bold and fun statement!

Step 4: Party Treats

With a very busy family schedule, store bought treats are always an easy way for me to supply my dessert spread. I asked my kids what we should serve and they suggested popcorn, root beer, cupcakes, and donuts, all snacks my husband loves!
